Lately, a lot of my friends have been asking for prayers – for themselves and also for people around them. The prayer requests varies from person to person – from broken hearts, financial difficulties, health problems, family problems, personal spiritual struggles, etc. Of course, I wouldn’t name these friends of mine, but my heart truly goes to them. I myself am not free from struggles and/or pain. For the people who asked for prayers, you know who you are. And I am praying for all of you. All of you who asked for prayers (literally) were on my mind when I read Psalm 73 yesterday and listened to the song “The Words I Would Say” by the Sidewalk Prophets.
So besides praying for my beloved friends, here’s an encouragement:
Psalm 73 (Contrasts the fate of the wicked from the fate of the righteous in Christ cos of God’s faithfulness)
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
27 Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
And here’s the song “The Words I Would Say” by the Sidewalk Prophets:
(If you can’t play it, search it on YouTube, it’s a good song)
And for my other friends who need prayer, just text me and send me a message. What are brothers/sisters in Christ for right
